Hello!

I am an assistant professor for mathematical logic at the university of Bonn who mainly works in set theory. But I'm also interested in the nonstandard analysis of stochastic processes. To find out more about my work in Bonn, please check my university homepage. There you can also find more information on my teaching, research, talks, preprints and cv.

My central research project is higher-dimensional forcing. The basic idea is simple: I try to generalize iterated forcing. Classical iterated forcing as introduced by Solovay and Tennenbaum works with commutative systems of complete embeddings which are indexed along a well-order. In my approach, I do not consider a linear system which is indexed along a well-order but a higher-dimensional system indexed along a simplified morass.

Moreover, I am an organiser for the annual Young Set Theory workshops which take place at various European locations. The goal of these conferences is to bring together PhD students and postdocs in set theory in order to learn from senior researchers in the field, hear about the latest research and to discuss research issues in small focused groups.

Finally, you can find some photos here.
